Smart dynamic ecosystems increasingly rely on collaboration among autonomous and heterogeneous systems, raising challenges related to trust, stability, and ethical behavior. In this new ideas paper, we propose a layered governance architecture for smart dynamic ecosystems, grounded in trust management, comprising system-level and ecosystem-level MAPE control loops. The proposed approach supports coordinated, trust- and ethical-aware governance across the ecosystem.
