Desiccation to 0-45% led to the decrease in Fv/Fm and PS II quantum yield, while qP was unaffected. Desiccation also promoted qN (non-radiative energy dissipation processes). In the species studied, temperature fall induced decrease in PS II quantum yield and the rate of gross photosynthetis. ER -
