Abstract
The hydrogen peroxide production has been detected in situ in mouse cumulus oophorus cells dying either by apoptosis or necrosis. The paper presents the sites of a primary hydrogen peroxide production during apoptosis and/or necrosis, the role of this metabolite in the course of cell death is discussed.
