Abstract

Speciální geografický výzkum byl prováděn v 27 obcích nedaleko slovenské hranice a v 5 místech 40 km od této hranice v srpnu a v září 1996. Výkum prokázal názorovou hladinu respondentů v záležitostech, které se týkaly jevů souvisejících se vznikem nové státní hranice. Přítomnost hranice je většinou klidně akceptována, i když jsou známy konkrétní problémy a i když velká většina zdejšího obyvatelstva (63,5 %) byla proti rozdělení Československa. Velký pokles frekvence cest na Slovensko jde na vrub někdejším cestám do obchodních domů ve slovenských městech. Cesty z důvodů rodinných a přátelských kontaktů zůstaly v podstatě zachovány.

Abstract (in English)

The special geographical study as conducted in the area close to the new frontiers between the czech Republic and Slovakia. The field survey was conducted in August and September 1996 in 27 localities in the Czech Republic lying near the border zone and in 5 other localities 40 km from the frontier. The general local meaning is tolerant and the existence of new frontier is accepted here, although the majority of local people was pro-federal in 1992.
