Abstract
The cannabinoids are involved in regulation of immune function. This action can be mediated either through cannabinoid receptors which subtypes CB1 and CB2 have been identified on leukocytes, or by non-receptor mechanism not clearly understood yet. The present study investigated the influence of endocannabinoids (noladin, anandamide)on the cellular immune function on leukocyte phagocytosis. Phagocytic activity of mouse leukocytes was measured in chemiluminescence (CL) assay using zymosan induction of phagocytosis and luminol potentiated of CL in vitro.
