V originále
In retrospective study the authors evaluated the role of segmental instrumentation in reduction of incidence of the late spinal pseudoarthrosis. Since 1975 the total amount of 1150 scoliotic deformities were surgically managed, the segmental instrumentation was used in 723 patients. Changing of the type instrumentation from distraction to the segmental led to the considerable reduction of the spinal pseudoarthrosis incidence.
