Transformation and restructuring of the Czech industry was at the end of 1990s very topical issue. They were accompanied also by significant legislative changes, which adjusted a relation of our state to domestic and foreign entrepreneurs and investors. The article contributes to a discussion of industrial production transformation, assesses functional shifts of branch structure everything at case regional dimension.
