Abstract
The depth sensing indentation (DSI)test was used to study mechanical properties of plasma deposited transparent SiOxCyHz coatings on polycarbonate (PC) substrates. The aim of the present work is to introduce the DSI technique as a very sensitive tool for evaluation of the interfacial fracture toughness between coating and substrate. This method enabled to distinguish the effect of different plasma treatments to find the optimum one
Abstract (in Czech)
Za účelem charakterizování mechanických vlastností rozhraní mezi tenkou vrstvou transparentního SiOxCyHz, nanášeného v plazmatu na polykarbonátových podložkách, byla použita metoda DSI (Depth Sensing Indentation). Ukazuje se, že tato metoda je schopna charakterizovat lomovou houževnatost tenkých vrstev v závislosti na různých fyzikálních parametrech plazmatu a vybrat z nich ty nejvhodnější.
