V originále

La notion des "esprits incrédules" dans l'apocryphe bogomile Interrogatio Iohannis semble etre liée aux versets 1 Pierre 3,18-20, qu'une partie au moins des cathares rapportaient aux anges (ce qui est attesté par Moneta de Crémone). Sous la distinction des "spiritus increduli" et des "iusti", on peut deviner la croyance cathare répandue selon laquelle il y a une catégorie d'anges déchus destinés a etre sauvés (Rainier, De heresi, Tractatus de hereticis, Jacques Fournier). Cette observation se trouve renforcée par le témoignage du Tractatus de hereticis, selon lequel certains cathares associaient un type spécial d'anges a la citation de Jean 10,16, qui suit immédiatement la mention des "esprits incrédules" dans l'Interrogatio.

The notion of the "distrustful spirits" in the Bogomil apocryphon Interrogatio Iohannis seems to be connected with the verses 1 Peter 3:18-20, that at least some of the Cathars believed to be said about angels (which is attested by Moneta of Cremona). In the distinction between the "spiritus increduli" and the "iusti" we may glimpse the widespread Cathar belief that there is a category of fallen angels intended to be saved (Rainer, De heresi, Tractatus de hereticis, Jacques Fournier). This observation is supported by the testimony in the Tractatus de hereticis that some Cathars linked a special type of angels to the quotation of John 10:16, which immediately follows the mention of the "distrustful spirits" in the Interrogatio.
