The study Contemporary ritual constructions set up by lama D.-H.Samayev is aimed at ritual constructions which were thought over and set up by lama Danzan - Haybzun Samayev between 1997 and 2002. These contemporary ritual constructions contain a lot of traditional elements but set up in a unique way. They are located in both Tunka and Oka regions and also in capital of Buryatia Ulan-Ude. They serve for hanging up flags hii-morin (bur., tib.: lungta) and zurmadhan (bur.) and play role as suburgans. The study distinguishes two types of ritual constructions: wooden constructions for hii-morin and Arigun suburgans made of steel tubules. The study is also directed at a.) astrology system Zurhay (mong.), which is the base of symbolism for hii-morin b.) theory and history of Ahalar-Arigun movement, which has been found by lama Danzan - Haybzun Samayev in the early 90s. The ideological base for this movement is solutions of ecological and social problems and the comunication between western and eastern thinking. Generally the study opens up basic understanding of ideas and work of lama Danzan - Haybzun Samayev through the description of his original ritual constructions which are being used up to now.
