Abstract
Este artigo gira em torno do conceito de cultura escolar. As suas inúmeras definições e a evidente ausência de delimitação deste conceito serviram como impulso para o nosso estudo, uma vez que, a própria noção de cultura de escola tende a ser limitada. As várias definições de cultura escolar estão devidamente documentadas, fora da Pedagogia, por três ciências tradicionais - Gestão, Antropologia e Sociologia - e o potencial de "aproximação integrativa" está centrado no sujeito. Estas várias definições incluem a caracterização dos diferentes modos como se define cultura da escola. Este artigo assenta na análise de artigos relevantes escritos em inglês, alemão, checo e eslovaco.

V této studii se věnujeme snahám o hledání a vymezování pojmu kultura školy. Všímáme si zejména těch z nich, které se inspirují v managementu, antropologii a sociologii. Zvláštní pozornost věnujeme přístupu, který se snaží integrovat podněty z jednotlivých disciplín. V závěru se zamýšlíme nad výsledky jednotlivých přístupů.
Abstract (in English)
This article deals with the concept of school culture. Its numerous definitions and the absence of unequivocality of this concept have served as the impulse for our exploration into the ways in which school culture tends to be delimited. The inspirations for the definition of school culture are documented, apart from pedagogy, from three traditional sciences (management, anthropology and sociology) and the potential of the integrative approach is taken into account. These inspirations include the characterization of the ways in which the concept of school culture is defined. The text is based on the analysis of relevant literature written in English, German, Czech and Slovak.
