N2 - The regulation of trade in cultural objects exists at national, European as well as international level. This contribution is devoted to the Community regulation of this area and to the influence of it on Czech national regulation. There are two EC instruments concerning this area: the Council Directive 93/7/EEC on return of cultural objects unlawfully removed from the territory of a Member State and the Council Regulation (EEC) No. 3911/92 on the export of cultural goods.
