Abstract

Cílem našeho příspěvku je podat ucelený přehled možností využití objektivních testů osobnosti ve výzkumné i psychodiagnostické praxi. Objektivní testy osobnosti jsou konstruovány jako specifické metody zkoumání osobnostních charakteristik jedince, kdy je vyšetřovaná osoba vystavena úkolu nebo situaci, při jejímž řešení se v jejím chování projeví její osobnostní rysy. Tímto způsobem mohou být využívány jak výkonové testy, jejichž výsledky jsou hodnoceny a interpretovány vzhledem k osobnosti, tak i speciálně vytvořené metody, mezi něž se řadí např. testy adaptability, kognitivních stylů, vytrvalosti apod. V příspěvku se zmíníme také o probíhající psychometrické studii vybraných objektivních testů osobnosti.

Abstract (in English)

The aim of our paper is to provide an overview of research and assessment potentials of performance-based personality measures. The performance-based personality measures are methods where subjects are exposed to a task or a situation; when solving the task, they reveal their personality characteristics in their behavior. Two types of tools are utilized as performance-based personality tests: first, there are standardized ability tests which are assessed and interpreted in terms of personality characteristics, not in terms of ability and performance; second, there are methods developed on purpose, e.g. tests of response to a frustration or stress, cognitive styles tests, endurance tests, etc. Our psychometric study of selected performance-based personality measures will be mentioned in the paper.
