Abstract

Cílem sdělení je zdůvodnit význam zavedení poskytování psychosociální a duchovní opory do každodenní praxe v zařízeních sociální péče a zakotvit pojetí opory v kontextu současného úsilí o prohlubování kvality života a osobní pohody (well-being) lidí - a to sociálních (a zdravotních) pracovníků na jedné straně a jejich klientů na straně druhé. Dále se autor pokouší poukázat na souvislost formování psychosociálních a duchovních kompetencí s tím, co M. Scott Peck označuje jako civilizovanost a co můžeme chápat synonymně jako psychosociální a duchovní kulturu života lidí.

Abstract (in English)

The objective of this paper is to substantiate the significance of implementation of providing psychosocial and spiritual support into the everyday practice in social care institutions, and to embed the conception of support in the context of current efforts to deepen quality of life and well-being of people - namely social (and health) workers on the one hand, and their clients on the other hand. The author further tries to point out the connection of psychosocial and spiritual competences formation with that, what M. Scott Peck terms civility, and what we may understand synonymously as psychosocial and spiritual culture of a person and his/her life.
