Abstract
In the Middle Danube region, the local developmental trends (the Szeletian) are being confronted with larger cultural entities, widely dispersed over northern Eurasia (the Emiro-Bohunician). Later, development of the Aurignacian is being observed. Chronology, technology, cultural and anthropological contexts of all these cultural entities are summarized and discussed.
