Článek se detailně věnuje hejtmanovi kraje jako jednomu z orgánů kraje. Zaměřuje se na tzv. ostatní působnost hejtmana, zejména na: - zřizování orgánů kraje, jmenování členů orgánů kraje a řízení jejich činnosti - zastupování kraje navenek (činění právních úkonů jménem kraje) - výkon činnosti některých dalších orgánů kraje v přechodných obdobích - plnění dalších úkolů svěřených hejtmanovi zákonem o krajích a dalšími právními předpisy

The thesis called „Other powers of the president of the region“ deals with the position, sphere of activities and competencies of the President of the Region as an important body of regional government (or „Higher municipalities“) in the Czech Republic. Other competencies are: - establishment of some bodies of the Region, nomination of their members to office and conducting their activities, - representing the Region in its external relations, carrying out legal acts in the name of the Region, - discharge of activities of some bodies of the Region during a transitional period, - discharge of other competencies imposed on the President by law no. 129/2000 Coll. on regions, as amended, - discharge of other competencies imposed on the President by a special legal regulation.
