Využívání specifických pojmů (odborné terminologie a profesionálního žargonu) při poskytování ošetřovatelské péče, tedy pojmů netypických a neznámých pro běžnou populaci se stává potenciálně nebezpečným s ohledem na efektivitu spolupráce a následnou compliance a dherenci nemocného. Vnímání odborné terminologie nemocným se může lišit jak v oblasti konextuální denotace tak i konotativní úrovní pojmů. příspěvek je zaměřen na hodnocení vnímání odborné terminologie u skupoiny hospitalizovaných seniorů na základě empirického šetření.

The using of the specific terms (scientific terms and professional jargon) in the healthcare is potentially dangerous concerning the effectivity of the treatment process and compliance of the patients. The patients perception of the scientific terms could be different in contextual denotation and also in denotation level of terms.There is perception of the scientific term in nursing and healther form the senior patents point of view evaluated in the empirical survey.
