Differential thermal (DTA) analysis, thermogravimetric (TG) analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra and photoluminescence (PL) spectra were used to characterize the resulting phosphor.
