Monografie podává přehled teoretických koncepcí práce s manželským nesouladem. Přináší praktické návody ke zlepšení komunikace parterů. Zabývá se řešením problémů, které jsou v osobnostech, ve vztahu a jeho vývojových etapách, ve vnitřních funkcích manželství a v ohrožujících vlivech zvenčí.

Marital therapy is a form of special psychotherapy, oriented toward treatment of marital problems and conflicts. The book brings first an overview of contemporary theoretical approaches to marital therapy, including also various views about the causes of marital discord. Special attention is paid to couple communication with pravtical suggestions for its correction. Further, basic types of marital problems are discussed, including problems in personalities of the partners, in developmental stages of the relationship, with inner functions of marriage snd with outer influences on it.
