Abstract

I will start with the succes story of the DML-CZ http://dml.cz library, and with the vision and goals of the project of the European Digital Mathematics Library. I will describe the challenges of math OCR, indexing and search, digital library visualization, and other problems of document engineering and how we have tackled them in the DML-CZ and in EuDML.

V přednášce bude podáno shrnutí úspěšného projektu digitální matematické knihovny DML-CZ http://dml.cz. Bude představena vize a cíle nového projektu EuDML -- Evropské matematické digitální knihovny. Popíši výzvy, které představují rozpoznávání a indexace matematiky, vyhledávání a visualizace v digitální matematické knihovně a jak tyto problémy byly řešeny v DML-CZ a jak se plánují řešit v EuDML. .
