This paper provides an overview of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, describes its legal basis, funding, subject matter jurisdiction as well as temporal and personal jurisdiction and concludes by considering whether the benefits of establishment of Extraordinary Chambers outweigh some troubling aspects of this Court.
