TY - JOUR ID - 918872 AU - Wolf, Marek - Zejda, Miloslav - Mikulášek, Zdeněk - Janík, Jan - Chrastina, Marek - Skarka, Marek - Droźdź, Marek - Kreiner, Jerzy PY - 2010 TI - NSVS 1065 3195 Ser: A New Low-Mass Binary PB - Astronomical society of the Pacific CY - San Francisco SN - 9781583817506 KW - low mass binary KW - eclipsing binary KW - NSVS 1065 3195 star; N2 - In this paper we present a short study of newly discovered low mass eclipsing binary NSVS 1065 3195 based on our new photometric observations. Most of determinations of the fundamental parameters of low-mass stars using eclipsing binaries indicate a strong discrepancy between theory and observations. The measurements clearly indicate that the observed radii are generally larger than the predictions by stellar models. On the other hand the observed temperatures are lower than those predicted by the current models. ER -
