In this article, the authors are concerned with theoretical and practical issues of allocation decision of local authorities in public administration within crisis management process. From theoretical view, the authors make reference to decision analysis of public subjects about resources allocation and mention supporting mechanisms for decision making. The authors will try to suggest a new approach for establishing a value of potentially affected region using an example of a region in Czech Republic and will specify relevant decision making issues associated with this approach.
