The article is reacting on actual development of theoretical thinking about rationality in the world. Introductory part summarizes up to date knowledge and possibilities of defining this term. Further, it focuses on “bounded rationality“, as one of the basic concepts of behavioral economics. Readers are introduced to theoretical assumptions of the theory, same as to results of laboratory experiments showing behavioral aspects of human dealing. Using also the knowledge of other branches of sciences (for example psychology), we are into some crossing boundaries of economics. At the end of the work is provided short discussion over concept of bounded rationality in comparison to alternative theories. The aim of the discussion is to establish whether there exists a dichotomy between these concepts, or whether, at some point of view, there are possibilities to meet these conceptions.
