Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem čtvrté a páté kapitoly počítačové hry pro jednoho hráče Assassin's Creed Odyssey a následnou syntaktickou analýzou textu. Výchozím materiálem pro překlad a přepis všech úkolů je samotná hra, která může pomoci s potřebnými podklady pro přesný překlad jako jsou výrazy či tón hlasu.Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the translation of chapter four and five of a single player offline role-playing PC game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the syntactical analysis of the text. The source material is the game itself for the facial expressions, voice tone and the exact situations to help with the needed background for a precise translation, a transcript of all quests. The thesis comprises of two parts. The theoretical part defines the basic types of translation, the translating methods and procedures followed by the theoretical process of translating itself as well as explains the background of the game and its game genre. The practical part includes the translation itself, more precisely chapter 4 and 5 which include 22 main quests of the game. The translated text contains mostly dialogues between two or more characters, less frequently inner monologues of the main character and only a few times indirect speech.
