Anotace
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá románem Mary Shelley Frankenstein aneb novodobý Prométheus zbavený úprav jejího manžela Percyho Bysshe Shelleyho. Jejím cílem je využít manuskript Frankensteina k vyčlenění těchto změn a analyzovat jejich vliv na jeho příběh a jejich místo s ohledem na jejich historický a biografický kontext. Cílem této práce je nastínit mimotextové a textové důkazy podporující Maryino autorství s Percyho rolí menšího přispěvatele.
Abstract
This bachelor's thesis considers Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus stripped of her husband Percy Bysshe Shelley's alterations. It aims to utilize the Frankenstein manuscript to single out those alterations and analyse their effect on the story and their place in regard to their historical and biographical context. The aim of this thesis is to outline the extra-textual and textual evidence supporting Mary's authorship with Percy's role as a minor contributor.
