Bakalářská práce je souborem zpravodajských textů, zabývajících se popularizací vědy v Jihomoravském kraji. Texty tvoří praktickou část práce a jsou dílem autorky bakalářské práce. Soubor textů bude publikován v brněnské příloze deníku Mladé fronty Dnes v období žurnalistické praxe autorky od června do září roku 2015. Každý z žurnalistických textů bude následně kriticky reflektován. Jednotlivé texty mají vědeckou tematiku. Teoretická část práce podává stručný přehled týkající se popularizace vědy. Dále vymezuje zpravodajský žánr zpráva v českém i zahraničním kontextu. Součástí jsou i žurnalistická specifika psaní o vědě. Práce má tvůrčí charakter, jejíž cílem je aplikace žurnalistických teorií do praxe v souvislosti s popularizací vědy v Brně a okolí s cílem vytvořit kvalitní žurnalistické texty na odborné téma. Díky aplikaci teorie do praxe a využití rozhovorů s redaktory brněnské MF DNES je dalším cílem vytvoření pravidel pro psaní žurnalistických textů na téma vědecké problematiky.

This bachelors thesis comprises a collection news articles dealing with the promotion of science in the Southern Moravian Region. The texts are written by the author of the thesis and comprise the practical part of the thesis. The collection of texts will be published in the “South Moravia” supplement to Mladá fronta Dnes daily (MF DNES) during the authors hands-on journalistic training from June to September 2015. Each one of these newspaper articles will be subsequently critically reflected. The topic of the individual texts is science. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a brief overview of promotion of science. It further defines the journalistic genre of a news report, both in the context of the Czech Republic and abroad. The theoretical part also includes the specifics of production of journalistic pieces on science. The thesis is creative in its nature and its goal is to apply journalistic theories in practice in relation to promotion of science in Brno and its vicinity and to create high-quality newspaper articles on a specialised subject. Another goal of this thesis is to establish the rules for production of articles on science issues, which is achieved by applying theory in practice and interviewing the editorial staff of MF DNES in Brno.
