The Thesis investigates the amazing topic of evolution in the information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by adopting the interpretative lens offered by Service Logic. After a brief overview about the key concepts on which the Service Logic is based, the thesis underlines opportunities and implications for a change in perspective in the management of ICT. Theoretical reflections herein are supported by the analisys of the topic of Smart City as relevant example in which the ICTs are a relevant drivers able to 'active' the interactions among different actors in order to achieve common and shared aims. The principal goal of Thesis is to apply the conceptual framework of Service Logic to the specific domain of ICT by underling possible advancements in knowledge for the management of Smart City.
