Aim:
The aim of the thesis is to investigate the data quality in the area of habitation in Brno and to evaluate its utilization within the concept of a smart city.
Work procedure and methods used:
The theoretical part of the thesis will be based on current literature search focusing on data analytics for smart cities and Methodology for evaluating sustainable smart cities by Ministery of regional development. Further, an analysis of the availability of Brno housing data will be performed, and their quality and range will be assessed. The application part of the work will expand on preceding analysis with statistical analysis and modelling of housing data with a particular focus on possible transferability to other cities in the Czech Republic. Finally, recommendations for municipalities and local authorities related to the quality and availability of housing data will be developed. Mathematical-statistical methods, quantitative and qualitative data analysis and statistical modelling will be applied.
