Penetration tests are essential to improving the security of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT). Their regular repeating helps fix vulnerabilities and improve the security team's detection and response capabilities. Unfortunately, however, penetration testing is a very resource-intensive and time-consuming activity. Therefore, automation and test scenarios should be the best solution to lower costs. This thesis aims to analyze the available tools in the context of their use for Purple Teaming activities, to design prototype scenarios, and to make a practical comparison of automated penetration testing tools in the context of Red Teaming and their appropriate application for improving the capabilities of the security team (Purple Teaming). Besides the thesis, the output is a prototype implementation of the scenarios that will allow the tools to be compared in the above context.
