Tato práce si klade za cíl otestovat Oesterreichovo (2005) pojetí autoritářství a získat základní psychometrické charakteristiky českého překladu Oesterreichovy škály autoritářství. Práce využívá pseudo-experimentální design s jednou vlnou sběru dat. Studie 1 ověřuje základní psychometrické vlastnosti českého překladu Oesterreichovy škály autoritářství. Konkrétně jde o její faktorovou strukturu a reliabilitu. Studie 2 ověřuje validitu metody pomocí Nilssonova (2024) integrovaného modelu studia antidemokratických postojů. Studie 3 ověřuje schopnost Oesterreichova pojetí autoritářství predikovat volební rozhodování v hypotetické situaci. Následně bude provedena (1) faktorová analýza, (2) série lineárních regresních modelů, (3) logistický regresní model pro ověření uvedených hypotéz.

This thesis aims to test Oesterreich’s (2005) conceptualization of authoritarianism and to obtain basic psychometric properties of the Czech translation of the Oesterreich Authoritarianism Scale. The study employs a pseudo-experimental design with a single wave of data collection. Study 1 examines the basic psychometric properties of the Czech translation of the Oesterreich Authoritarianism Scale, specifically its factor structure and reliability. Study 2 tests the validity of the measure using Nilsson’s (2024) integrated model of antidemocratic attitudes. Study 3 examines the ability of Oesterreich’s conceptualization of authoritarianism to predict voting decisions in a hypothetical scenario. Subsequently, (1) factor analysis, (2) a series of linear regression models, and (3) a logistic regression model will be conducted to test the stated hypotheses.
