This research examines the impact of Instagram filters on body image perceptions among young women aged 18-28. The study explores how the use of filters influences self-perception, body dissatisfaction, and self-esteem. Social comparison theory and symbolic interactionism will be employed in this study as theoretical frameworks. Through a qualitative approach (in-depth interviews), the research investigates young women's motivations for using filters, their experiences with filtered versus unfiltered images, and the broader cultural and social factors shaping these practices.
