The goal of this thesis is to design and implement information system for managing quality claims. The main functionality of the information system is to digitize 8D problem solving process and help users follow the business process accurately and on time. Each stage of the 8D problem solving requires certain information to be put in or tasks to be completed. One team member with the Claim Leader role will assign tasks in each stage to other team members and approve their completion. In the final stage of the 8D problem solving process, there will be official documents generated and approved by high level management of a specific division. The system will also provide analytic data that will combine the system internal data with other data sources into comprehensive and insightful reports. Consumers of this analysis are across all levels of positions such as Claim Leader, Divisional Quality Manager, Divisional General Manager, Regional Quality Manager all the way up to Global Quality Manager and other top level management members. The result of the thesis will be the implemented information system and the technical report.
