Abstract
The goal of this thesis was to design and implement a set of proof-of-concept applications centred around the RT ticketing system, extending its functionality to satisfy identified requirements on the unified user request system. Zadání práce
The student will become acquainted with the problem of user request tracking. He will analyze the context of the organization, the ticketing system used, the reasons for its selection, and create a comparison with its main competitors, focusing on their shortcomings. The student will then design, implement, and partially deploy a proof-of-concept unified user request system to submit and manage user requests at the organization. The goal is to develop a set of applications that enable users to raise their issues by submitting requests by email or, preferably, via a self-service interface with hints and lookup of relevant documentation and services.
The practical result will be represented by a functional, tested, and locally deployable demo system centered around the ticketing system.
