For almost a quarter of a century, the Laboratory of Electronic and MultiMedia Applications of the Faculty of Informatics (LEMMA FI) has also provided the tools and infrastructure for the preparation and organization of the Film Festival of the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University (FF FI MU). The topic of this thesis is to add the Electronic Voting System (EVS LEMMA) to the laboratory infrastructure to be used for the next decades. The student will analyze EVS's functional and non-functional requirements for the specific purposes of LEMMA or other labs. He will design and implement the generic, open, easily, and long-term maintainable, configurable system as part of LEMMA tools and web infrastructure. The student will discuss his design choices thoroughly (web or mobile application, standalone virtual machine or embedding it in the current web infrastructure, standalone configuration or importing the metadata for voting from kafe.fi.muni.cz, [ensemble] voting systems supported, checking authentication via mobile MAC addresses connected via dedicated access points or in advance distributed tokens, and many others). EVS will be deployed, tested, and used for the 24th annual FF FI MU (during the preparation of festival dramaturgy and then for the on-the-spot voting).
