The aim of this thesis is to design and develop a mobile application in the food management domain, focused on efficient household inventory management and minimizing food waste. The application, built as a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) using the Flutter framework and Supabase backend platform, will enable users to manage their personal cookbooks and track ingredients manually or via automated methods (e.g., receipt digitization). Key functionalities will include the efficient matching of saved recipes with current inventory and the integration of Large Language Models (LLM) to automate selected processes, primarily the intelligent generation of new meals based on available or expiring ingredients. The thesis will also encompass practical testing of the prototype with potential users to validate initial business hypotheses and the market viability of the proposed service.
