Anotace

Simulácia hardvérových a softvérových komponentov hrá dôležitú rolu v zlepšovaní spoľahlivosti Smart Grids. Ko-simulácia reprezentuje orchestráciu dvoch alebo viacerých simulačných modelov s rôznymi prostrediami. Táto práca sa zameriava na poskytnutie porovnania existujúcich ko-simulačných frameworkov, ktoré môžu byť použité na hardvérové/softvérové simulácie komponentov Smart Grids.

Abstract

Simulations of hardware/software components play a significant role in improving the reliability of Smart Grids. Co-simulations represent the orchestration of two or more simulation models with different runtime environments. This thesis focuses on providing a comparison of existing co-simulation frameworks that can be used to help run hardware/software simulations of Smart Grids components.

  • review the literature about the concept of co-simulation, the importance, and the relevance in the Smart Grids context;
  • identify a list of frameworks (e.g., Mosaik: https://mosaik.offis.de) that can be used for co-simulations, providing a comparison in terms of characteristics;
  • propose a comparison between the major frameworks identified during the review by running different scenarios;
