Zadání práce

The objective of this thesis is to conduct a thorough analysis of unmanned systems, focusing on their current use, development, and associated threats. The research will be based on a systematic analysis, followed by consultations with the Army of the Czech Republic. The thesis will include:

  • The historical development and current state of unmanned systems, with an emphasis on technological advancements in recent years.
  • An analysis of the deployment of these systems in the context of the Russo-Ukrainian war, identifying new tactics and methods of use that were not common before the conflict.
  • Predictions of future developments and threats related to these technologies, including the expansion of autonomous capabilities.
  • An analysis of the capabilities of unmanned systems, focusing on the types of carried munitions, their effectiveness, and methods of deployment in combat operations.
  • An analysis of security threats - either from an attacker's or defender's perspective - considering both cyber and physical aspects of these systems.
  • Recommendations for the Army of the Czech Republic, if feasible within the scope of the thesis.

The thesis will be conducted in collaboration with the Command of the Information and Cyber Forces of the Army of the Czech Republic.
