Cybersecurity serious games challenge their players to investigate several paths to the solution. Even though the games may feature hints, some players tend not to ask for help and rather keep trying to solve the game tasks of their own. The goal of this thesis is to review what kind of feedback is available in selected cybersecurity game platforms and develop a prototype of a component that will actively provide hints to a player during the ongoing game session. The implementation part will contain the frontend and the backend components developed using Angular and Spring framework with the integration of the data transmission option. The component will be implemented with the aim of the later integration to the KYPO Cyber Range Platform.
