Cyber ranges provide training to students and cybersecurity professionals in virtual-based environments. These environments are often isolated, and no collaboration is possible. This thesis will pilot the implementation of a cyber range's extension for collaboration between students during the training. It will implement a Capture-the-Flag-like platform for cooperation between several students in one virtual environment competing with other students' teams. It will furthermore provide a tool for communication between students and adapt already available tools to monitor the student's progress inside the environment.
