Master's thesis
Determination of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant potential of selected phenolic compounds of Morus alba
Stanovení protizánětlivé a antioxidační aktivity vybraných fenolických látek z Morus alba
Abstract
Teoretická část této diplomové práce popisuje rostlinu Morus alba, (Moraceae), její využití, obsahové látky a biologickou aktivitu.
Abstract
The thesis’s theoretical part describes the plant Morus alba (Moraceae), its use, biological activity and major constituents. It also focuses on flavonoids, their anti-inflammatory activity, and inflammation in general. The experimental part determines the potential cytotoxic, antiinflammatory and antioxidant activities of the selected compounds (kuwanon C, H, U) in vitro on tissue cultures (THP-1, THP-1-XBlueTM).
