The Common Provenance Framework (CPF) is a novel solution that enables traversal of graph-based data across organizations, while supporting authenticity, confidentiality, and versioning. The goal of the thesis is to design a provenance document generator that can be used to generate synthetic documents according to a given specification. In particular, the goal of this thesis is to (i) study the framework and related implementations, (ii) design a tool for generating documents according to the given specifications, and (iii) demonstrate that the generated documents can be stored and retrieved by a CPF store service. The text part of this thesis will focus on describing functional requirements, ways to address them, design and implementation of the tool, and the main architectural decision. If compatibility issues arise between the tool and the CPF store service, they will be described in the textual part of the thesis.
