Anotace

Práce zkoumá a vyvíjí řešení pro organizace, které používají dva různé systémy pro odesílání a zpracování tiskové úlohy. První část práce pokrývá teoretické znalosti o systémech správy tisku (zkráceně PMS), konkrétně o YSoft SafeQ. druhá část pokrývá teoretické znalosti o systémech plánování podnikových zdrojů (zkráceně ERP), konkrétně o systémech SAP a iDempiere. Poslední část dokumentuje implementaci získaných znalostí. Výsledkem je úspěšné doručení tiskové úlohy z ERP na PMS.

Abstract

The thesis researches and develops solution for organisations running two different systems for submitting and processing a print job. The first part of the thesis cover theoretical background of Print Management Systems (PMS), specifically YSoft SafeQ. Enterprise Resource Planning system is a critical component of any larger organization. The systems allow organizations to manage and monitor the state of resources and provide information to all departments. The print management system is responsible for processing and delivering print jobs to printers. Larger organizations have more than a thousand devices capable of print and Print Management system like YSoft SafeQ helps administrators manage and monitor these assets.
Integration of ERP system and YSoft SafeQ could help organizations to provide better print service for its employees.
The goal of the thesis: Research and develop prototype for two EPR systems that allow print job delivery from ERP system to YSoft SafeQ. The prototype should support one or more APIs for job delivery (e.g., BC-XOM, LPR, IPP, YSoft SafeQ Protocol Level 4).
The way of work: Y Soft will provide consultations and support with the thesis. The minimal duration of the thesis is at least two semesters.
The thesis will be realized with Y Soft Corporation, a.s., a strategic industrial partner of the Faculty of Informatics.
