Zadání práce
Several Central and Eastern European countries have experienced a decline in democratic transition among the public since they acceded to the European Union 15 years ago. In this thesis, I try to research the effects on the level of democratic transition of the Visegrad (the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) countries. The thesis examines democratic transitions of Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland), including their international and domestic aspects, as globalisation components. It offers a comprehensive overview of this transitional democratic prospect for classifying its progress from external and internal factors. The thesis shows how domestic political opportunities have affected civilian society capabilities and the production of social capital in different stages of political and societal growth in V4 countries through an analysis of internal factors. The thesis examines the attempts and policies of major western organisations in the country to foster democracy since the early years of independence in the 1990s. For many years the attempts of European unification have been on the European continent. The emphasis of this dissertation is the study and comparison of selected democratic development processes after the collapse of the communist regime in 1989, which resulted in the creation of the Visegrad Group and then joined the European Union in 2004, in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary (V4 countries). This study is focused on the assumption that the initial economic situation of the V4 countries was similar to today, that they converged on existing structures and mainly addressed the issues of how the V4 countries started to grow and evolve with the democratic transition. The issue of what democratic transition of V4 countries' main theoretical objective should be should also be discussed in the mid-and long-term context.
