Abstract
This thesis addresses the enhancement of mask annotation functionality within the FIDENTIS Analyst II desktop application, a tool designed for analyzing and comparing 3D facial scans. The work focuses on improving the interactivity, flexibility, and precision of annotating regions on 3D facial models by introducing a novel multi-layer system for managing shape annotations.
