Roky po referende o Brexite zásadným spôsobom, pretvorili to, ako bola Európska únia interpretovaná v britskej verejnej sfére, a otvorili sa nové diskusie o identite, spolupráci a legitimite. The years following the Brexit referendum reshaped how the European Union was interpreted within the British public sphere, opening new debates about identity, cooperation and legitimacy. Zadání práce

The thesis explores the discourse of pro-Europeanist movements in the UK, specifically
examining how movements such as European Movement UK and Best for Britain have
discursively constructed the European Union (EU) since the 2016 Brexit referendum until
2024. By analyzing the evolution of their discourse on the EU, the thesis aims to
understand the ways these groups have framed the EU in their efforts to influence British
public opinion and politicians. The research uses methods of textual analysis and draws
upon data gathered from the official websites of these movements over the 2016-2024
period. Through this analysis, the thesis contributes to the understanding of
pro-European advocacy in the post-Brexit UK context.
