Abstract

Tato práce se zabývá nedostatkem autentičnosti tradičních učebnicových poslechových materiálů používaných v kurzech anglického jazyka a navrhuje YouTube jako bohatý zdroj autentických poslechových materiálů. Využitím akčního výzkumu zkoumá tato studie proveditelnost implementování autentických videí z YouTube do výuky angličtiny jako cizího jazyka a rovněž jak studenti tyto materiály vnímají. Zároveň posuzuje výhody a výzvy spojené s prací s YouTube videi.

Thesis description
The aim of this thesis is to research the viability of using YouTube videos as a source of authentic listening input for the improvement of listening comprehension. The main questions this thesis will try to answer are: How to implement YouTube videos efficiently and appropriately into an EFL lesson? What are the students’ reactions to and opinions on this implementation. This will be done using action research in a class at a grammar school.
