Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl poskytnout zhodnocení současných Česko-taiwanských vztahů. This bachelor’s thesis will provide a thorough analysis of contemporary Taiwan – Czech Republic relations. It will concisely tackle the position of both Czech Republic and Taiwan and their approach to East Asia and EU. It will try to analyse the relations since the re-establishment of Czech Republic, the major focus of this work, however, will be set on the development of this relation in the 21st century. The work will reflect the changes brought about with the change of presidencies on both sides and will focus on the relation ever since. The development of this connection will be discussed along with the assessment of the most significant affairs that had impact on this relation. The mutual importance is going to be evaluated within the each others' foreign policy perspectives. Emphasis will be also laid on both negative and positive stimuli of this relation and it will be concluded what significance, advantages and disadvantages this relation brings about to the both sides. The aim of this thesis is to provide a thorough up-to-date analysis of Taiwan – Czech Republic relations.
