This bachelor’s thesis focuses on designing and developing a simple, user-friendly security policy auditing tool for the Windows 11 operating system, inspired by Pareto Security (https://paretosecurity.com). The primary goal is to create a tool that enhances cybersecurity on Windows by offering selected security checks, such as firewall status, open ports, or update monitoring. The tool will be tailored to the specific needs of Windows users, ensuring both effectiveness and ease of use.

As part of the development process, the student will survey existing or similar applications and tools, examining their core features and functionality. This analysis will guide the design and development of their own solution. The tool will be released under an open-source license, and its usability will be evaluated through at least informal user testing.
