- Course objectives
- The seminar introduces the main theoretical problems of translation and deals with translation practice in translating different types of text (translation of sentences - practice grammar, scholarly and journalistic texts, Greek literature of 20th century). By the end of the course, students will have acquainted the main theoretical problems of translation and they will be capable of translating different texts into Greek and a literary text from Greek into Czech. Students will also be capable of evaluating translations.
